Ümit Kireççi (Mai, 22, 1972, Germany/Krefeld) is a writer, theater actor and art educator. He studied firstly at 1991 in Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History And Geography German Linguistic. After three year he began to study at 1994 in Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History And Geography Theater Institute Dramatical Writing. He actually mostly work with/for children. Kireççi, established in 1992 “Ankara İzdüşüm Tiyatrosu” and wrote, directed and acted theater scripts. Later, he write scripts for comic books and TV Show’s. “Open The Curtains” (Theater scripts), “Pan The Clown Teaching Making Puppets, Competetions and Costume For Birthday Parties” (Three boks for children), “Writing Comic Book Scripts” are his books and he has many stories at many anthologies. Today, he is writing for newspapers, magazines, internet sites and blogs about comic books and meanwhile he give presentation at art centers and universitys about comics. Ümit Kireççi also is the founder of Comic Readers Platform (CROP) and organizing art events.
