Memo Tembelçizer (1972)

For almost 30 years he has worked as graphic artist, cartoonist, illustrator and finally as executive in weekly and monthly humour, economy and news magazines, and in daily newspapers. In 2007 he became one of the founders of Uykusuz, the bestselling weekly humour magazine in Turkey; and Murekkep Publishing, one of the most prolific comic book publishers in Turkey with over 100 books in the last ten years. In 2015 he founded the monthly comic magazine Hortlak, and become the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine. He has ten books published so far and he is regularly invited to comic exhibitions in Netherlands, Germany, and in Instutit Français Istanbul. He has also opened two exhibitions with his sculptures.
